Lyskovsky District
District in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, RussiaLyskovsky District is an administrative district (raion), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Lyskovsky Municipal District. It is located in the east of the oblast on both sides of the Volga River. The area of the district is 2,134 square kilometers (824 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Lyskovo. Population: 39,964 ; 43,755 (2002 Census); 46,895 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Lyskovo accounts for 54.7% of the district's total population.
